“The program of the first day of the visit of Canada’s Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk to Luhansk region includes an overview of the site for the construction of a solar power plant with the involvement of Canadian investments and familiarization with the work of the Rubizhne cardboard packaging mill,” the press service of the Luhansk Regional State Administration reported.
A joint Canadian-Ukrainian team of experts who are directly involved in the development and implementation of the SOLAR project arrived at the construction site of the solar power plant. Canada’s DAI Inc is ready to invest in this project.
“The solar power station will be able to generate 150 MW of power that is crucial for the energy security of Luhansk region,” First Deputy Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Hennadiy Ivanenko said.
This cooperation takes place within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed in Ottawa on September 22, 2017.
