The agreement between the Anaklia Development Consortium and British Company BuroHappold Engineering was signed. The company will develop “City Planning of Anaklia”. The document will be ready in six months.
“Today we have started working on the development of Anaklia city planning concept, which will be implemented by one of the most well-known British company BuroHappold Engineering. This company has a great experience in building new cities, their methodology is based on the concept we have been discussing, green and smart city principles based. They have a number of successful projects implemented around the world, in Europe as well as Asia and the Middle East in this direction.
They will implement the technical and economic study of the project and develop the urban development concept of how the territories should be distributed in Anaklia. After which, we will cultivate a general plan.
