Belarus, Slovenia to develop cooperation in standardization

The Belarusian State Committee for Standardization and the Slovenian Institute for Standardization signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the 53rd meeting of the CIS Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification in Tashkent on 27 June, reportes the press service of the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus.

The document was signed by Chairman of the Belarusian State Committee for Standardization Viktor Nazarenko and President of the Slovenian Institute for Standardization Bogdan Topic.

The meeting on 26-28 June has brought together the heads and representatives of the national bodies for standardization, metrology, conformity assessment and accreditation of the CIS member states, the CIS Executive Committee, and international and national standards organizations. The agenda includes about 40 issues relating to further work in the field of standardization, metrology, conformity assessment, accreditation and state supervision.
