The first Belarusian right-hand drive electric bus will be sent on its way to Nottingham, UK soon, reads the message the UK embassy in Belarus.
The message reads: “The first right-hand drive electric bus made by Belkommunmash is just back from trials and will soon be shipped to Nottingham. Regional Director at UK Export Finance Vomic Shah is behind the wheel.”
The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Belkommunmash is a leading manufacturer of ground urban electric transport in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The company offers trolleybuses, passenger tram cars, and electric buses of the regular and increased capacities. Electric buses represent an innovative means of transportation. They combine the advantages of trolleybuses and buses while leaving out their disadvantages.
