Belarusian expertise in developing the IT sector should be an example not only for Europe but for the whole world, former Croatia President Stjepan Mesic told journalists at a business meeting hosted by the National Center for Marketing at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA has learned.
“I am very impressed with Belarus’ track record in the IT sector. This is an example not only for Europe, but for the whole world. We have a lot to learn from you and we would like Croatian companies to cooperate with Belarusian ones,” Stjepan Mesic noted after a visit to Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park. The Croatian delegation is in Minsk to study possibilities for cooperation with Belarus, including in the IT sector.
“We are eager to cooperate and develop our countries and economies,” he added. Stjepan Mesic is also scheduled to attend the Minsk Dialogue Forum. “I will speak about security in Europe and the world and the current problems. I expect that the forum will touch upon topics which I am interested in. The modern world is very troubled, many things are imposed, sanctions are used,” Stjepan Mesic said.
