Anatoly Motkin shared the prospects for the development of Ukrainian IT in his article for the prime Ukrainian business media Economichna Pravda

President of StrategEast Anatoly Motkin, in his article for the Economichna Pravda, expressed the opinion that in the short term, closer interaction with the countries of the Persian Gulf is necessary for a significant increase in revenue and investments in the IT market of Ukraine.

According to Mr. Motkin, one of the most important directions of StrategEast’s activity today is promoting the idea of investing in the digital ecosystem of Ukraine among partners in the West and the Middle East. This is critically important since the digital ecosystem, along with the military one, is one of the two main pillars of Ukraine’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression since the first day of the war.

“We are at the very beginning of the journey, so it is difficult to predict the results of cooperation between the Ukrainian IT sector and the Persian Gulf countries. However, over the past year, we have built relationships that will ensure a significant increase in cooperation in two directions: attracting customers for service companies and investments in food products. We see interest from both sides and no reason why this should not happen. Our role is to make the process irreversible and organic. We think that cooperation will reach a level where our assistance will no longer be necessary in the coming year,” Anatoly Motkin noted.

According to Mr. Motkin, even according to our most conservative estimates, within a year, dozens of Ukrainian startups will be at an advanced stage of attracting investments from the Persian Gulf countries, and from three to five Ukrainian service companies will be able to conclude contracts with Persian Gulf companies for the provision of digital services during the same period.
