During his visit to Tashkent, Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast has held a meeting with Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, Mr. Motkin briefed the Minister on StrategEast’s activities in Uzbekistan and discussed collaboration opportunities.
In particular, the sides discussed the ways of scaling up local IT entrepreneurs’ products to the global markets, including the Silicon Valley within the Think Big Boot Camp program for startups in Uzbekistan.
The program is launched by StrategEast jointly with California-based accelerator US MAC in partnership with Uzbekistan Venture Capital Association and IMPACT.T and supported by USAID.
