Chief Analyst
Lidia Shavlo is the Chief Analyst at StrategEast, where her responsibilities encompass the coordination of StrategEast research projects, overseeing and managing various analytical functions, and the prioritization of the Center’s information requirements.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Ms. Shavlo has garnered extensive experience in solving complex problems, developing data-driven solutions, and managing projects, specifically in communications and public relations across public and private sectors. Prior to her tenure at StrategEast, she made significant contributions while working at the PRP PR agency, an affiliate of Weber Shandwick, where she successfully executed award-winning PR strategies for an array of international clients, including prominent entities such as Avon, Coca-Cola, Jacobs, Johnson & Johnson, MasterCard, Microsoft, Richter Gedeon, USAID, and others.
Furthermore, Ms. Shavlo has held various managerial positions at diverse organizations, including a Ukrainian tech startup, Sayenko Kharenko law firm, which boasts a clientele comprising Fortune-500 companies, as well as the Investment and Trade Facilitation Center and a Ukrainian Member of Parliament and political party.
Her academic pursuits include a Master’s degree in English philology from Kyiv National Linguistic University and certification programs in Public Governance and Policy Analysis at Kyiv School of Economics.
