Ukrainian logistics operator ZAMMLER mulls entering U.S. market

The ZAMMLER group of companies providing logistics services is mulling the possibility of entering the U.S. market by buying a transportation company, director of the company Viktor Shevchenko has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“We have been deeply studying the American market for nearly a year. We focused on several states that can be used for doing logistics business. We think about starting with the development of a transport direction, most likely by purchasing an existing transport company,” he said.

According to him, the company’s portfolio includes customers also interested in developing in the U.S. market.

“The company has a portfolio of customers who are also interested in developing in this market, there are those that make last mile delivery. But so far there are more urgent development issues, so America has receded into the background. However, in general, we do not abandon this idea,” the expert said.

ZAMMLER provides services in the field of automobile, sea, rail, air transportation, customs brokerage, as well as a full range of warehouse services.

The company includes Zammler Ukraine (Kyiv), Zammler Warehouse (Martusivka, Kyiv region), Zammler Fulfillment LLC (Krasylivka, Kyiv region), MLS Company LLC (Kharkiv), Ningbo Zammler Trading Co LTD (China), and ZAMMLER POLSKA Sp.z o.o. (Poland).
