Kazakhstan launches MAN trucks production

Production of MAN trucks and buses was launched in Kostanay (Kazakhstan), the Kazakhstan Automobile Business Association (AKAB) said.

At the beginning of the year, the Allure Group of Companies and the Uzbek manufacturer of UzAvtoSanoat signed a memorandum on joint production of MAN trucks and buses at the site of the SaryarkaAvtoProm plant in Kostanay.

The capacity of the project is 3,000 units of vehicles a year. At the first stage in 2018, the companies plan to produce over fifty units of equipment.

The plant will produce several models of trucks and buses. It is planned that Kazakh side plans to localize production.

Eurasia MAN Truck & Bus Kazakhstan and other trade networks will realize the trucks and buses of MAN in local market.
