Uzbekistan, Poland create joint commerce & industry chamber

The Polish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been registered in Warsaw.

The purpose of the Chamber is to help and assist entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Poland in establishing business relations and searching for potential business partners.

Polish businessman, head of the company KOPAX P.K. Peter Kozlovsky was elected as the chairman of the new chamber.

Kozlovsky noted that one of the main goals set before the Chamber will be formation of a platform for discussing topical economic issues, developing constructive positions on topical business issues and promoting successful experience of small and large enterprises.

According to him, the joint CCI will represent the interests of small, medium and large businesses, covering industry, domestic and foreign trade, agriculture, financial system, services and other areas.

The Chamber will strive to make the joint Polish-Uzbek business transparent, socially responsible. The organization will become one of the organizers and an active participant in major economic and investment forums, Kozlovsky said.
