The Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision of creating a park for informational technology, “Moldova IT park” which will start its activity on January 1, 2018. The IT park is founded for 10 years and it targets to attract 400 IT companies.
The main target of the new structure is providing an organizational platform with a vast range of mechanisms and facilities for developing the IT industry, creating new jobs and attracting foreign funders.
The virtual park has the possibility of creating a physical infrastructure.
The manager is named by the government for a term of five years and the administration has judicial status and activates on self-financing principles.
Also, the Government approved the regulations for the organization and operation of the Park Administration and the Regulation for registration of its residents.
