During a visit to Chernihiv, Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Ukraine Ole Terje Horpestad got acquainted with the economic potential of the region and expressed interest in the grain export.
This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
“There are farms with Norwegian investments in Chernihiv region. The region is quite productive, and we will consider options for the grain exports,” the diplomat said.
The ambassador was also interested in the regional peculiarities of promoting the land reform, the benefits of the Association Agreement with the EU and the tourism potential of Chernihiv region.
The region was presented by the heads of the regional state administration and the regional council Valeriy Kulych and Ihor Vdovenko, as well as Chernihiv Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko.
