US World Courier enters Lithuanian market

World Courier, the global leader in specialty logistics and part of AmerisourceBergen, has opened an office in Vilnius, which will primarily focus on transport services in the local market, while also operating a finance shared service center.

The company did not specify the planned investment in Lithuania and the number of people to be hired in the country.”World Courier has seen a growing demand from customers to be present in the Baltic region. Lithuania offers us a perfect knot, a well established logistics infrastructure and builds a great connector into the Baltic countries, Poland, Scandinavia, Belarus and Russia,” Jens Mattuschka, World Courier’s regional vice-president for Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, said in a press release.

World Courier, the global specialized logistics company, has more than 2,500 employees in more than 140 offices across the globe.
