EBRD funded wind power plant to open in Ukraine’s Lviv region

A 21 MW wind power plant will be opened in Lviv region tomorrow, according to Roman Matis, head of the regional investment policy department. The wind farm, Old Sambir-2 in the Starosambir district, uses six Danish wind turbines made by Vesta.

The EUR 36 million project was largely funded by a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to Carpathian Wind Co. Ltd.
