Moldova will open a tender for rehabilitation of part of its road network in the fourth quarter of 2017, to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the bank said on Friday. The project will require the procurement of works and services for rehabilitation of M3 Chisinau – Giurgiulesti road, which provides access to the Danube river, the EBRD said in a notice.
The Moldovan authorities intend to use part of the proceeds of a 75 million euro ($85 million) loan extended by the EBRD in October 2010 to finance the road rehabilitation project. Tendering for the contracts is open to firms from any country.
