StrategEast, in collaboration with RECONOMY, successfully conducted a workshop “Unlock the Power of AI for Businesses” designed to equip businesses from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia with the knowledge needed to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) for their business operations. The workshop was part of the AI Policy Dialogue Initiative, led by StrategEast in collaboration with RECONOMY, which fosters discussions on AI governance, ethics, and sectoral applications across the region.
Led by AI expert Vitali Shulga, the session covered key topics such as the benefits and challenges of AI adoption, the four phases of AI integration, and best practices for ensuring responsible and effective AI implementation. Participants gained insights into AI’s role in enhancing business operations, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. They also explored practical AI tools, the importance of structured data, and strategies for overcoming resistance to AI adoption within organizations.
The workshop highlighted the importance of AI education and change management, emphasizing that successful implementation requires well-defined processes, high-quality data, and human oversight. Business representatives were encouraged to experiment with AI tools, develop an AI adoption strategy, and identify internal AI champions to lead transformation efforts.
As part of the next steps, attendees will outline AI adoption plans for their businesses, explore AI-driven automation, and assess their data readiness. StrategEast and RECONOMY will continue to support AI integration across the region through further workshops, policy discussions, and industry collaborations.
By hosting this event, StrategEast reaffirmed its commitment to driving digital transformation and fostering AI-driven economic growth in Eurasia.
RECONOMY is an inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe and others in the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans countries.
