StrategEast, in collaboration with USAID’s FGI and the UK Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, facilitated the first-ever Kyrgyz pavilion at GITEX in Dubai, one of the world’s largest and most influential technology events. The pavilion, curated by IT Park Kyrgyzstan, marked a significant milestone for the country’s growing tech sector.
On October 9, Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast, held a series of meetings at the Kyrgyzstan pavilion, engaging with leading Kyrgyz IT companies and discussing opportunities for further development with the leadership of Kyrgyz IT Park. Key figures included Aziz Abakirov, CEO of High-Tech Park Kyrgyzstan, and Chubak Temirov, Deputy Director of the High-Tech Park.
During his visit, Mr. Motkin praised Kyrgyzstan’s rapid digital transformation, emphasizing its importance in strengthening the country’s position in the global tech landscape. His discussions with Mr. Abakirov and Mr. Temirov focused on enhancing collaboration between regional and international IT ecosystems, exploring talent development, investment opportunities, and the integration of emerging technologies.
StrategEast’s efforts continue to build bridges between the public and private sectors in Eurasia, driving digital transformation and fostering economic growth.
The meetings at GITEX mark an important step in solidifying Kyrgyzstan’s presence in the international tech community and underscore the country’s growing role in fostering innovation and digital development.
