Google and StrategEast have launched the Build with AI for Sustainable Growth program for developers and entrepreneurs across the Caucasus and Central Asia. Participants will learn advanced AI skills using Google’s most advanced AI model, Gemini, to address pressing social and sustainability issues.
Build with AI for Sustainable Growth aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future by transforming climate information into actionable insights through AI. This program empowers the IT community to drive innovation. Participants will gain access to leading tech and AI professionals, learn to integrate AI into daily life, and collaborate on solutions addressing national economic and sustainability priorities.
In partnership with USAID’s Future Growth Initiative, the program offers:
-Expert-Led Workshops. A series of workshops led by Google DevRel and StrategEast experts, where participants will build skills and develop solutions using Google’s AI.
-Focus on Regional Challenges. Participants will tackle sustainability issues in the Caucasus and Central Asia, including air and water quality, habitat degradation, pollution, food security, and more.
-Final Hackathon. An offline hackathon in Astana, Kazakhstan, in fall 2024, showcasing participant-created AI solutions.
