Aisuluu Kozhomkulova

Regional Director for Central Asia

Aisuluu Kozhomkulova is the Regional Director for Central Asia at StrategEast, overseeing projects and initiatives across all Central Asian countries. With a decade of experience in international development, she excels in project management, policy development, communication, and stakeholder engagement. Aisuluu’s extensive work in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, combined with fluency in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English, allows her to navigate complex projects and consistently deliver impactful results.

She has collaborated with international development organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, Mercy Corps, UN agencies, DAI, Abt Associates, and the Aga Khan Foundation. Aisuluu has created strategic initiatives for various governmental bodies, including the Ministries of Health and Transportation and Telecommunication of the Kyrgyz Republic. She was recognized with letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture for her efforts in public health.

Aisuluu holds an MPA in Development, Technology, and Innovation Policy from University College London and a Specialist Degree in International Relations from Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University. She is a recipient of the “El Umutu” presidential scholarship and a graduate of the TechWomen program, a prestigious U.S. Government exchange program empowering women leaders in STEM fields.

Passionate about AI ethics and climate, Aisuluu has led several training sessions on green economy, climate, AI ethics, and technology. As a consultant, she specializes in green economy, climate, ICT, and innovation. She has spearheaded numerous national and regional campaigns addressing gender and women empowerment and public health. Additionally, she founded the Bishkek Toastmasters club and served as its first president. Aisuluu has also led international dialogues and conducted numerous large-scale forums on critical development issues.
