On May 30, Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast held a presentation of EBRD-USAID-StrategEast joint analytical report with the policy recommendations on how to foster the development of the IT export-oriented industry in Central Asia that took place at EBRD’s headquarters in London.
The event was opened with welcome remarks and introduction by Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Managing Director, Central Asia, EBRD.
Panel discussion “The billion in the distance: How tech exports can transform Central Asia”, moderated by Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast embraced distinguished speakers: Arkadiy Dobkin, Chairman of the Board, CEO & President of EPAM; Barbara Rambousek, Director, Gender & Economic Inclusion, EBRD; Dirk Werner – Director, Head of Telecommunications, Media and Technology & VCIP.
The first regional report and policy recommendations, “The Billion in the Distance: Central Asian IT Exports and Strategies for Growing Them” was prepared by StrategEast with the support of EBRD and USAID.
