On April 10, 2023, an event “Tech Education and Entrepreneurship in Ukraine”, dedicated to the Ukraine startup ecosystem was held at the Faculty Club of the University of Berkeley organized by Science, Entrepreneurship and Technology (SET) University, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, USAID, and StrategEast.
StrategEast President Anatoly Motkin moderated a fireside chat with Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. During the conversation, issues of IT education and entrepreneurship skills development in Ukraine were discussed, as well as best practices that can be adopted on the government level to stimulate the growth of the tech sector and innovations during crisis.
Representatives of SET University, USAID, Berkeley Haas School of business, Embassy of Ukraine in the US, Ukrainian startups and IT clusters also delivered their speeches at the event.
