On March 30, the report “The Billion in the Distance: Central Asian IT Exports and Strategies for Growing Them” presentation took place in Bishkek at the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The presentation was followed by discussion with the participation of donors, global development agencies, international financial institutions, domestic IT companies and IT developers.
Participants of the panel discussion included Syrgak Abakirov, Country Manager of Palladium – USAID Future Growth Initiative; Jyldyz Isabekova, Country Director, Accelerate Prosperity Kyrgyzstan; Chubak Temirov, Director of High Technology Park of Kyrgyz Republic; and Rovshan Rahimov, Regional Director for Central Asia and Eastern Europe at StrategEast.
The first regional report and policy recommendations, “The Billion in the Distance: Central Asian IT Exports and Strategies for Growing Them” was prepared by StrategEast with the support of USAID and EBRD.
