StrategEast, Chamber of Commerce of Paraguay discuss prospects of high-tech park creation
Anatoly Motkin met with Olga Vera de Nunez, president of the chamber of commerce – Camara de Empresarios, Ciudad del Este and Alto Parana in Paraguay. The sides discussed issues of creating a special tech zone for IT companies similar to IT parks in the countries of Eurasia.
Such IT parks offer special tax and legal regimes contributing to the favorable development of IT business, help increase IT exports and facilitate the creation of a viable IT ecosystem. StrategEast’s experience in Eurasian countries demonstrates that such parks support entrepreneurship and attracting foreign direct investments.
Camara de Empresarios cooperates with the authorities in the elaboration and implementation of policies aimed at fostering and promoting the development of the business community, as well as promoting economic development and defending the general interests of the entire business sector in the region.
