StrategEast launches IT HUB in Azov and Donetsk regions of Ukraine with GIZ support

StrategEast IT HUB job and education center successfully operates in Georgia, Moldova and Azerbaijan, opens its doors for Ukrainian students.

The first stage of the project includes enrollment of 25 students from the Azov and Donetsk regions of Ukraine. They will get the most demanded IT specialties and get a highly-paid job in global tech companies upon graduation without leaving their home regions.

The IT HUB project is supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The IT HUB is supported within the project “Fostering economic participation of vulnerable groups including IDPs in the Sea of Azov region” by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Government. The project supports members of vulnerable groups in improving their chances to find decent job opportunities by improving their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge about the local job market. The project encourages young women, ATO veterans, single parents or children from the families with many children/single parent, applicants with IDP status, disability, to apply.

Within the project, StrategEast will collaborate with requalification centers and universities of Azov and Donetsk region. Student enrollment is being conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
