On November 17, Tbilisi hosted a Graduation Ceremony, where certificates of successful completion of the course were received by the first graduates of the StrategEast EPAM IT HUB educational center.
The first 12 graduates acquired specialties in Software Testing, Introduction to C # and .NET and JAVA. All of them have already got their first job in the IT industry in a new specialty.
The ceremony was attended by Avtandil Kasradze – Chairman of Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency, Anatoly Motkin, StrategEast, President, Sergey Ageenko – Director, Software Engineering, EPAM.
The IT HUB educational center was opened in February 2020 at the initiative of StrategEast, a US-based center for new economy with the support of the leading American IT company EPAM Systems, Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency and BTU University.
IT HUB is an IT training program with employment upon graduation. The program is matching expert trainers working in the IT sector with students in Eurasian countries seeking an IT career.
