StrategEast President Anatoly Motkin participated in the Munich Security Conference kick-off event upon invitation of Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger.
The new term – “Westlessness” coined by the MSC team and reflected in the Munich Security Report this year is truly one of the key challenges faced by post-Soviet countries that they should cope with.
StrategEast is convinced that the western values are above all – the universal values of rule of law and private property protection. “In our just issued StrategEast Westernization Index we assess how close the Eurasian countries are to those values and what progress are they doing over the years” – comments Anatoly Motkin
This year the introduction to our Index was written by MSC chair Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger.
