Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has started startup project in Georgia at the base of the Business and Technology University (BTU) of Georgia.
The global startup lab will operate until January 31. It will launch mobile and Internet technology startup program. Within the program, specialists of the Massachusetts Institute will train selected candidates in entrepreneurship and technical support.
“First of all, we are very proud that BTU is hosting this event. We are looking forward to the demo day when we will have a chance to attend the demonstration of the product. The wining startup will launch on January 31. The most important thing is that MIT will help commercialize the idea at the international marketplace”, said Nino Enukidze, dean of the BTU.
28 students participate in the MIT Global Startup Lab project, including students of BTU and other universities throughout Georgia.
The program is fully funded by BTU.
