EU officials discussed new opportunities for the European integration for Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova

Between 13 and 15 November, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv hosted the 3rd Association Exchange Forum. The event gathered diplomats, officials and experts from the EU, Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova to discuss new opportunities for the European integration of the three countries.

The event is an international gathering of practitioners and experts on Association Agreement (AA) implementation in the three countries.

The forum took place during a period of change after the elections reshaped political landscapes in Ukraine, Moldova and the EU.

It discussed whether further political leadership on all sides will advance the implementation of the AA and deepen European integration of the three countries.

The forum also provided an opportunity to explore the potential of enhanced cooperation between the associated countries around their EU integration goals by discussing specific common interests that Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine have in working together to deepen integration into European internal markets.
