Germany allocates €82 million to support reforms in Ukraine

The Federal Republic of Germany decided to allocate EUR 82 million in technical and financial assistance to Ukraine for reforms.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrij Melnyk wrote this on Twitter.

“Wonderful gift from Germany for the inauguration of President Volodymyr Zelensky: Berlin allocates technical and financial assistance in the amount of EUR 82 million to Ukraine for domestic reforms in 2019. Today [May 20] a protocol is signed in Kyiv! Thank you, Germany,” the Ukrainian diplomat wrote.

As reported, former German president Christian Wulff arrived in Kyiv on Monday to attend the ceremony of inauguration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
