Over a dozen of deals between the governments and departments of Kyrgyzstan and Germany, as well as business deals and memos totaling over 1 billion euros were inked during the Kyrgyz-German business forum, said President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
During the joint statement for the press with Angela Merkel on April 16 in Berlin, Jeenbekov said the Kyrgyz-German business forum held in Munich on April 15 helped establish new ties.
Trade and economic, hydro energy, industry, agriculture, and tourism were named as promising areas for cooperation between the nations.
Kyrgyzstan is having active socio-political and socio-economic transformations, Jeenbekov noted. “Building an economically developed legal state with parliamentary democracy is what we are aimed of. We believe that the current tempo of cooperation with Germany needs to be further backed with an accent made on the trade-economic tie,” Jeenbekov added.
