On 6 April 2019, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Netherlands Dilyor Khakimov discussed the development of cooperation with the export manager of the Dutch company Alltech Coppens Sesom van der Lyk.
Founded in 1993, Alltech Coppens is the global leader in fish feed production. The company supplies its products to Uzbek companies located in Tashkent and Namangan region.
The meeting also held a conference call with the Uzbek partner, during which prospects for expanding cooperation, including the creation of a joint venture for the production of fish feed in the Namangan region, were considered.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed:
– On 7-9 May, the participation of Namangan companies in the European Seafood Expo Global Fish and Seafood Show in Brussels;
– a visit to the Alltech Coppens plant in Germany at the beginning of May to learn about the technology for the production of fish feed;
– on the organization of a visit of representatives of Alltech Coppens to Uzbekistan at the end of May with meetings in the ministries of agriculture, investments and foreign trade, the Chamber of Commerce and industry and visits to farms in Namangan region.
