On 15-18 April, an expert from the Belgian Port of Antwerp will visit Azerbaijan to provide advice and guidance to the Baku International Sea Trade Port to update its Ship Waste Management Plan in compliance with the respective EU legislation.
The expert will focus on the understanding, approximation, implementation and enforcement of this legislation.
The workshop is being organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) in cooperation with the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
