Royal Dutch Shell considers start producing fuels, lubricants in Uzbekistan

Shell is eyeing to launch a production unit in Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan 24 reported. According to the company vice-president for CIS, Joanna Kuensnsberg, Shell is encouraged by the reform efforts being undertaken in Uzbekistan and is considering a project of fuel and lubricants production facility.

She added that loan funds for energy projects from the UK Export Credits Guarantee Department worth up to £ 1.2 billion.

It was reported earlier, that BP planned to launch production of Castrol oil in Uzbekistan.
