French Bouygues company to invest 100 million euros on implementation of projects in tourism industry in Uzbekistan

The National Bank of Uzbekistan and French company Bouygues signed a cooperation agreement on implementation of projects in tourism industry for 100 million Euros.

During Uzbekistan-France business forum held in the run-up to the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France, the National Bank of Uzbekistan and the French company signed the agreement on tourism projects. The agreement foresees construction of a tourist zone Ancient Bukhara.

The 10 ha zone will include hotels, shopping centers, restaurant, luxury apartment buildings, parks.

The French company will help to find investors for the projects and will manage them.

The Bouygues plans to build a network of hotels and resorts in other tourist cities of Uzbekistan.

The projects built by Bouygues include the Channel Tunnel, tunnel under the La Manche, La Grande Arche de la Défense, terminal at the Charles de Gaulle Airport.
