French Decathlon considering the possibility of opening a network of stores in Uzbekistan

Representatives of Decathlon (France) held a meeting with Tashkent’s acting khokim Jahongir Antikhodjaev. This was reported by the press service of the capital’s hokimiyat.

Decathlon CEO for Central Asia, Jerome Antonio Da Silva, spoke about the history of his company and noted that the company’s production facilities are located in more than 30 countries around the world and have about one hundred thousand employees.

The meeting participants exchanged views on the importance of entering the Decathlon company’s capital market and providing the necessary assistance from the khokimiyat.

The French company Decathlon, which specializes in the development, production and retail trade of sports goods for more than seventy sports, is considering the possibility of opening a network of its stores in our capital.

The company owns the Decathlon trademark, as well as more than twenty trademarks, each of which is “responsible” for a specific sport: Artengo (sport with rackets); Aptonia (health); Nabaiji (swimming) and more.
