The investment hub project was presented during visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Ferghana region. The project suggests creation of a hub for direct attraction of foreign investments.
The investment hub will cooperate will free economic zones and innovative centers of the region.
The hub will have its overseas offices to attract investments. It is expected to attract more than $161 million investments. These funds will be used to set up new ventures and to modernize functioning enterprises leading to creation of around 2,700 work places in Ferghana region.
The President ordered to set up similar hub in other regions of the country.
He ordered to allocate no less than $100 million for implementation of the program “Each family – entrepreneur” in Ferghana region.
