Officials from the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan will visit Estonia on 25-27 September to learn about the country’s experience with introducing a qualification framework into its educational system. The event is organized by the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX) with the purpose of supporting Azerbaijan in implementing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
The participants will study the structure of the Estonian qualifications system, the role of the NQF and the major actors (the Ministry of Education and Research, Estonian Qualifications Authority (Kutsekoda), Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA) and Foundation Innove) involved in developing and implementing this system. They will also have the opportunity to visit several universities and Vocational Education and Training institutions to learn more about developing new qualifications, qualification standards and using them in study program development, and assessment, validation and certification of competence.
