Austria interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the high-tech field

Austria is interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the field of high technologies, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. In order to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Austria Bakyt Dzhusupov held a meeting in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology of Austria.

During the conversation with the head of the executive department for the transfer of technology and safety of the Federal Ministry of Austria, Gernot Grimm, the mechanisms of participation of Austrian companies in projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan in the sphere of high technologies were discussed.

Dzhusupov informed the interlocutor in detail about the national project “Taza koom”, about the programs implemented by the government of Kyrgyzstan on the introduction of e-government and the provision of online services to the population, and also drew attention to the great interest on the part of Austrian business to participate in the components of “Taza Koom”.

In turn, the representative of the Austrian Ministry expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Kyrgyz side in these areas. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached between the parties to develop a draft international agreement on cooperation between the relevant ministries of the parties in the field of information and high technologies in the near future.
