KPMG and Deloitte to invest $200 million in Armenia

KPMG and Deloitte companies will implement in Armenia programs of a total cost of $200 million, Suren Karayan, Armenian economic development and investments minister, said in an interview with 168 Zham (168 Hours).  “KPMG will implement a $120-million investment program in Armenia, and Deloitte two projects of a total cost of $80 million,” he said. “I should say that these companies are a part of so called Big 4.”

In Karayan’s words, these two companies are interested in implementation of investment projects in Armenia as part of the $3.2 billion programs about which Karen Karapetyan, Armenian prime minister has repeatedly said.  “Potential investors have also special interest in two or three big construction projects, and the matter is under negotiation now,” he said.

Karen Karapetya has repeatedly said that $3.2 billion is expected to be invested in the country’s economy, of which $840 million has already been invested in 2017.

The Big Four are the four largest professional services networks in the world, offering audit, assurance services, taxation, management consulting, advisory, actuarial, corporate finance and legal services -Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG.
