Fitch upgrades six Belarusian banks rating to stable

Fitch Ratings has upgraded six Belarus banks’ Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) to ‘B’ from ‘B-‘. The Outlooks on the IDRs are Stable.

The banks are Belarusbank, Belinvestbank, Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, BPS-Sberbank, Bank BelVEB and Belgazprombank.

The rating action follows the upgrade of Belarus’ sovereign Long-term IDRs and Country Ceiling to ‘B’ from ‘B-‘.
