Azerbaijan’s SOCAR and IBM set up joint venture to provide IT services in Caspian Region

 

Caspian Innovation Center LLC, a joint venture of the Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and the US corporation IBM, has passed the state registration, the Vergiler newspaper of Azerbaijan’s Taxes Ministry reported Jan. 31.

The company was registered on Dec. 22, 2017. Authorized capital of the company is $393,000.

Zeren Karadere Gulseli is the official representative of the company.

The joint venture will act as a center for analysis and support, and will mainly work in the oil and gas industry, in creation of competitive information technologies, business transformation, and consulting services in Azerbaijan, the Caspian region, and other countries.
