Anna Magin is the Chief Executive Officer of StrategEast, a strategic center for political and diplomatic solutions whose mission is to guide and assist elites of the post-Soviet region into closer working relationships with the USA and Western Europe. As CEO, Ms. Magin guides the development and execution of the overall strategic direction of the organization.
During her two decades as a communications strategist, Ms. Magin has worked on behalf of government offices, private companies and NGO’s to effectively drive change through a variety of stakeholders, including the media, government officials, politicians and representatives of various public organizations.
Ms. Magin began her professional career at the campaign headquarters of Prime Minister Ehud Barak, coordinating market research of the Russian-speaking sector in Israel for his campaign. Following the campaign, Ms. Magin continued to work closely with immigrant organizations, the Knesset committees and Israeli media as an advisor at the Prime Minister’s office until 2001. In 2003, she founded a public relations firm designed to offer comprehensive solutions in multilingual marketing communications, media outreach, political campaigns and public opinion research—with a focus in reaching Russian-speaking audiences worldwide.
Ms. Magin holds a LL.B degree in Law and B.A. in International and Government Relations from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel.
